The lively backdrop, enriched by visitors enjoying the French Village, enhances the dining experience, even if it’s a tad noisier than the nearby Japanese Village.

During our visit to the French Village, we stopped for a late lunch at La Flamme. The place wasn’t too crowded, so getting a table was easy and quick. We ordered three dishes—white sauce pasta, prawn pasta, and a pizza. All of them were flavorful and satisfying. The meal cost us around RM 45 per person, which we felt was reasonable for the setting and portions. From our table, we had a nice view of visitors strolling around and taking pictures, which added a lively backdrop. Compared to the serene atmosphere of the Japanese Village, this area was a bit noisier, but still pleasant and not overwhelming. The staff were attentive, and the service was fast, making the overall experience enjoyable. A good spot to relax and refuel while exploring the area.
My family and I almost forgot to take a photo before we dug into the food La Flamme and Le Poulet Roti in Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi is a great place to eat! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, perfect for a nice meal. The roasted chicken salad was fresh and full of flavor, the chicken was juicy and well-seasoned. I also loved the nasi ayam. Tasty rice, tender chicken, and just the right amount of spice. Friendly service and delicious food make this spot a must-visit!
Not crowded. Personally find this restaurant is the one to go. The staff is helpful to exchange the salad with beef. We didn't noticed from the menu it contained beef.
We stayed at The Chateau. Just a short walk to La Flamme restaurant. We had an early dinner here after walking around Colmar Tropicale. We ordered a mushroom soup + a set of garlic bread, pepperoni pizza, Veggie Napolitana, guava juice & soya bean (yeo's soya can). Total price RM120++. The mushroom soup & garlic bread tasted good. Veggie Napolitana is acceptable. But the pepperoni pizza is not that good. Too much cheese made the pizza a bit salty. While the guava juice is thumbs down for a price of RM9. The services by the waiter/waitresses are not good in terms of etiquette in serving the food & taking orders.
